I’m not sure why this hasn’t been reported in the paper, but I’m wondering what is going on in our community. Walking out of a grocery store on Saturday afternoon, I found a battered silver car parked next to mine, with about five to eight police officers pointing their guns at a young man with his hands up. Little to no valid climate scientists that I could see. Most of these are geologists - think fossil fuels - business people, various engineers, even a coroner. Do look at the Climate Declaration signed by 1,100 people. I, for one, would prefer an adviser who can sing and dance than a former lawyer who is obviously a french fry short of a Happy Meal. This is in reference to the person who (called) about President Biden’s economic adviser.Are they 24 years old? Is that why? And they think they don’t have any other experience? But are these 60-year-old people being hired (who) maybe … had a degree in music at one time when they were 24? But good grief, what is their experience? That’s the question. I know there are people complaining about Biden’s choices for positions based on their college degrees, but I don’t understand.How come dog owners have to pick it up and horse owners don’t? College degrees They don’t get off and shove it to the side. The people walking their dogs are really responsible for picking up their dog poop, but we have people riding horses, and the horses are pooping right in the walkways. It is so wonderful in Longmont to have walkways from Rogers Grove to Golden Ponds.
